Cashless at evolve

Everything you need to know about topping up, paying with your wristband and getting your remaining balance back.
How does cashless work at evolve?
At check-in you receive a wristband containing a chip. Load money onto it and tap the wristband to pay at the stands, so you don’t need to carry cash, cards or valuables around the site.
Can I preload credit before the festival?
Yes. From 15 August, you can create an online account and preload credit onto your chip. This helps avoid queues.
Can I top up during the festival?
Yes. You can top up at any time by scanning the QR code on your wristband. You can also top up with cash or card at the Info Point during the festival.
Is there a top-up limit?
Yes. The maximum balance per chip is 250€. You can top up smaller amounts as often as you like.
Is the festival cashless?
Yes. evolve uses the wristband chip for purchases such as food, drinks and healing sessions. The marketplace is an exception and can accept cash or card.
What if I lose my wristband?
Lost or damaged wristbands can be replaced at the Info Point. If your chip was registered online, the remaining credit can be moved to the replacement. If it wasn’t registered, the balance cannot be recovered.
How can I check my balance and transactions?
Log in to your Weeze cashless account using the button above. There you can check your current balance and transaction history.
Can I get a refund for unused credit?
Yes. Refunds are available now. Log in to or create your Weeze cashless account using the button above. If your wristband is not already linked to your account, enter the 6-letter chip code printed on your wristband. You can then request a refund of your remaining balance through your cashless account. Refund requests must be submitted by 14 December. Please keep your wristband until your refund has been completed. A small processing fee may apply.
Is my data safe?
Yes. Personal data is kept only as long as needed, for example for refunds. Account information is protected with technical and administrative safeguards. If you create an account, information such as your name, email, ticket barcode, credit balance and payment details may be collected. Festival transaction data is anonymised and later deleted.
Where can I get help with cashless?
During the festival, please come to the Info Point and our team will help you. After the festival, please email support@evolve-festival.com.
Do I need to create a Weeze account?
You can top up your wristband at the Info Point during the festival without preloading online. However, we strongly recommend creating a personal Weeze account. You’ll need it to manage your balance online and request a refund after the festival. Registering your chip also allows us to recover your remaining balance if your wristband is lost.
What happens with my €5 trash deposit?
At check-in, you’ll receive a trash bag for a €5 deposit. Return the trash bag when you leave the festival. Your €5 deposit will then be credited to your cashless Weeze account rather than paid back in cash.
